NOTICE OF RIGHT TO RETURN – TERRELL HOMES SENIOR PHASE

The Newark Housing Authority (NHA) is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted from former residents of Millard E. Terrell Homes who previously indicated a desire to return to the site and who are aged 55 and older.

​

This marks the beginning of the lease-up process for Phase I of the newly redeveloped Terrell Homes, which is designated exclusively for senior households (55+). Eligible individuals who previously lived at Terrell Homes and expressed an interest in returning will receive priority consideration during the leasing process in accordance with the Right to Return agreement established through the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Newark Housing Authority and the Terrell Homes Tenants Association. Applications are due on June 30, 2025.

To support this effort and address any questions or concerns, the Newark Housing Authority will host two informational sessions:

FIRST INFORMATIONAL SESSION [Evening Meeting]
