RESOURCES & CASE ACCEPTANCE
Each year, ENLS provides free legal assistance to more than four thousand households.
Thousands of other households go unserved because ENLS has very limited resources.
Because it cannot address every legal need, ENLS has case acceptance rules known as program priorities.
The priorities focus ENLS's limited resources on the most critical legal needs of its low income community. Situations affecting the client's survival are most important. Such priorities include assisting clients keep a roof over their heads and securing public assistance benefits or other services as may be necessary.
